There were many stops along the way with great photo opportunities. We also joined the boat tour, which cost an extra 10 euros and was definitely worth it. “This tour was so much fun and extremely informative, in large part to our amazing guide, Gjenc. He reached out the day before to confirm the pick-up time. He then arrived as planned, and the driving time throughout the day passed quickly as Gjenc answered questions and provided other information about Albania. The only caveat I have for this tour is that, if you are a hiker, do not expect an actual hike at all. The "hike" was only a quarter of a mile out with 150 ft of elevation gain. The tour groups that hike for longer start from the lake, but the benefit in terms of views doesn't…”
